Our Partners

One of the strengths of Badge Nation is the partnership of organisations it was born from.

City & Guilds

City & Guilds –  are a global leader in skills development, providing services to training providers, employers, and trainees across a variety of sectors to meet the needs of today’s workplace.

“Our qualifications and apprenticeships are valued by employers across the world, helping individuals develop their talents and abilities for career progression. We have adopted digital badges for a wide range of our products and have badged a huge number of courses. We endorse the Cities of Learning Badging standard used with all Badge Nation badges.”

Future Creators

Future Creators – part of Brighton Dome and Festival, Future Creators are a collective of organisations working as one to develop the creative potential, skills and voice of our children and young adults.

“We are the leading Kickstart gateway for creative organisations in the South East and have been using badges to support creativity through lockdown and our pre-employment support schemes.”

Real Ideas

Real Ideas is a social enterprise based in the south west, solving problems & creating opportunity.

“From supporting young people to find work and develop skills to helping start-ups and enterprises thrive, we work to solve problems and create positive and lasting social change.

As well as supporting Badge Nation members, we use digital badges to recognise the achievements of our staff members and the young people we work with in employment pathways, youth hubs, work experience and Kickstart placements, celebrating digital, immersive and social enterprise activity.”

RSA  -The Royal Society for Arts, Manufactures and Commerce. The RSA has been at the forefront of significant social impact for over 260 years. Our proven change process, rigorous research, innovative ideas platforms and diverse global community of over 30,000 problem-solvers, deliver solutions for lasting change.

RSA led the Cities of learning pilots and created the Cities of Learning Badging Standard – a scaffold to support coherent and aligned learning. It is based on the OECD’s Future of Education and Skills 2030 learning compass.

“We’re committed to a future that works for everyone. A future where we can all participate in its creation.”

The Navigatr platform

The Navigatr platform, designed for the Cities of Learning Pilot and funded by the UFI, provides educators and employers with a space to create and promote learning to work pathways with their badges. It makes learning more visible in their place whilst also capturing relevant and tangible insights and data on skills progression.

Badge Nation badges are pre-loaded into Navigatr so that members can easily create learning and work-related pathways.”
